This throttle cable bracket is an exact duplication of the original to include the reinforcing rib pressed into the entire flat surface of the bracket including the PCV port "hump". It is finished with a primer and then a sprayed on black phosphate coating. This bracket is equal to or exceeds OEM specs as it is ruggedly made. This bracket has a 5.125” bolt hole center dimension, ie, for a Holley or similar carburetor. NOTE: THIS BRACKET WILL NOT FIT A 70 TORINO SCJ IF IT IS STILL EQUIPPED WITH THE ORIGINAL HOLLEY 780 CARBURETOR. IF THAT IS THE CASE, YOU MUST USE THE 69 428 CJ MUSTANG/COUGAR THROTTLE CABLE BRACKET THAT HAS THE DROP CENTER CROSS BAR TO CLEAR THE SECONDARY FUEL BOWL.
