This sale is for a NEW transmission kickdown rod for a 73-79 Ford F-150 or F-250 Custom pickup truck with a 351M, 400M, FE engine, C-6 transmission, 4V carb AND is ONLY for this truck with a 4X4 option.

NOTE: YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD.

EDELBROCK CARBS REQUIRE THEIR PART # 1483, FORD KICKDOWN ROD ADAPTER.

All setups with an Edelbrock carb will require a custom rod be built due to their kickdown design. Please tell us if you have one installed.

There is a sale for a 2 barrel carb. Use it for 2V app.

Select YES for a custom rod if you have an aftermarket high rise intake manifold installed or a carb spacer 1” or greater. If you need a custom rod, please NOTE what it is about your application that makes it custom so I will know how to build the rod.

The bushings are permanently installed just like the OEM did them.

The correct rod retainers ("E" clips) are included with this rod.

NOTE: If you are using a Holley carburetor and do not have the kickdown rod return spring kit that is needed, go to this link to pick up the spring kit.
