1977-1979 Ford P/U Truck 351M, 400 C6, 2V or 4V, 2WD ONLY Transmission Kickdown Rod

This kickdown rod is made of stainless steel and will remain elegant looking its entire life. The bushings are permanently installed just like the OEM bushings were.

Select for 2V or 4V.

NOTE: YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD.

EDELBROCK CARBS REQUIRE THEIR PART # 1483, FORD KICKDOWN ROD ADAPTER.

All setups with an Edelbrock carb will require a custom rod be built due to their kickdown design. Please tell us if you have one installed.

WILL NOT FIT 69-79 F-100 302 C-4 . There is a separate sale for this rod.

Select YES for a custom rod if you have an aftermarket high rise intake manifold installed or a carb spacer greater than 1". Select 4V if you have a 4 barrel carb. Selecting NO is the default for 2V applications only. 2 wheel drive only.

If you need a custom rod, please NOTE what it is about your application that makes it custom so I will know how to build the rod.

NOTE: If you are using a Holley 4V carburetor and do not have the kickdown rod return spring kit that is needed, go to this link to pick up the spring kit.
